so girls, how was your weekend? did you get a good start into the week?

mine was pretty relaxing - sunbathing and hanging out with friends - going to the movies; i've watched 21 and "what happens in vegas" great movies, the one with ashton and cameron was really funny, has anybody seen that?

I thought "21" was fabulous, actually...something about it was just thrilling to me! Maybe it's because I went through an engineering program, and I know how boring it is...it was AWESOME to have a movie about engineering students with double lives, LMAO.

My weekend pretty much sucked, but everything's ok now...no harm done. I can't WAIT for this weekend, though! I decided to watch the J/R scenes on Friday night with junk food...*happy sigh* can't wait!

i have to admit, i haven't seen the last 30 mins - my friend didn't feel good and we had to leave ... could you tell me how it ended?
we left when she came to im, they already had been to vegas and won a lot of money.
i guess the professor was using them - i mean they showed that guy who got beaten up, i guess they wantet to imply that their gamling, counting world isn't as beautiful as they want it to be. so what happend?

Ummm,
The professor turned out to be a old pro at the counting thing, and I guess he got banned from the casinos a few years back, so that's why he hired the kids.
Because the young kid lost so much money, the professor went all nuts and trashed his dorm room, took all his money back and then he gave him an "incomplete" on his transcript, so he got kicked out of Harvard med school.
So the young guy is all sad and humbled and makes up with his friends and then goes back to Vegas, meet with the police boss and sets up the professor- saying that he knows a sure way to win. So they all go back to Vegas and win a lot of more money, but the professor takes off with all of it...
But the young guy switched the chips with fake ones, knowing that would happen...and the professor gets caught by the police. The police then steals the real money, leaving the kid with nothing. But in the end, he gets to go to Harvard med on scholarship.

but okay, it's quite predictable - but i still liked the movie - and the counting thing is interesting --- anyone in to try it in vegas?!

LOL @ trying it in Vegas. After I saw that movie, I got a few of my geeky friends together and tried to work out the system, but it NEVER worked! There's supposed to be all these secret words to signal what the count is...like "Star" or "Sweet" and we would get them all mixed up!

But yeah, not brave enough to go to Vegas yet...you first

well we could at first write down all the keywords and look if it works that way, then when we're pros we'll go to vegas and freeboot the casinos! LOL

Then we can win millions of dollars and hire Dave and Emily to make us whole B&S episodes of JUST them...and we get to write the scenes!

Funny story! I've been spending more and more time at work lately, so I'm going through board withdrawals. For some reason, my blackberry REFUSES to let me log on to this board, regardless of how many times I plead with it.

So I go to the wireless company to try to get them to fix it, and I reluctantly have to show them which website it is I can't get on to. The lady looks surprised at first and she goes "Oh, they're so pretty! Who are they?" when the banner appears. LOL. I was so embarrassed, but I explained the best I could. Thankfully, she was nice about it and did not make me feel as crazy and obsessed as I am.

But it was worth it! I can get on the board on my blackberry now! Hurray!

I go awol for a week and the whole place starts getting wonderfully busy! I rely on you wonderful peeps who get the show before the UK to tell me whats going on with J/R, plus I just love a good catch up

i know - it's so wonderful seeing the forum alive again!
we had some lonely weeks/months but now that the spoilers are coming people finally wake up from their "B&S-winter-sleep"!

btw, if you don't want to wait and want to watch the show - you could use streams - this is a really good website and it has the eps online in like 1-3 days - i often watched them there.

just click on "filter by keywords" and pick "full episode" and it will provide you with the newest uploads - the quality isn't 100% but it's okay - and better than nothing.
